Research Interest
Yellow lupin (Lupinus luteus) is characterized by its high protein content in the grain, surpassing to soybean. Thus, the grain contributes to supply one of the good sources of protein for animal and human. To improve functional properties of the protein, I have begun to study the clarification of the compositions and digestibility of proteins in the grain of yellow lupin by proteomic techniques. In addition I dedicate part of my investigation in the development of methods to create a new type of food for human using the flour, protein concentrates, and protein isolates of yellow lupin.
