CGNA professionals were involved intense workshops of CGNA in the context of the visit by Dr. Josh Udall, Assistant Professor of Brigham Young University, Utah, USA, who works on analysis of genome complexes and conducts his research in the evaluation of genome duplication in gene expression in cotton.

Dr. Josh Udall gave a series of mini-workshops on genomics and bioinformatics, covering areas like managing databases, assembling sequences generated through mass sequencing techniques, mRNA expression through mass sequencing and comparison of cultivated plant genomes.

The visit of the US researcher was in the framework of international cooperation efforts of CGNA with diverse organizations internationally through which the Center obtains feedback on knowledge and the research results that complement the work at a global level.
