We are non-profit making, autonomous Centre of excellence that develops Science and Technology in plants and food in order to contribute to the socio-economic development, and quality of life.
We receive baseline finance from the National Commission for Scientific Research and Technology (CONICYT) and the Araucanía Regional Government.
Our multidisciplinary team is composed of trained professionals who work in an integrated way and transform the CGNA in a focus of activity in carrying out science and generating know how in La Araucanía Region, in a wide network of collaboration.
We interact with universities as well as national and international Centres of Excellence, with the purpose of increasing our multidisciplinary, collaborative research. Sharing knowledge that allows us to understand complex processes and jointly face the global challenges.
